I wrote this album as a first time experiment in 8bit music composition. The entire piece was written on FamiTracker keeping a NES platforming game style in mind. The game - if it existed - would be an underwater adventure in which your character would descend into the dark depths of the ocean, probably for recreational "why not?" reasons. So, do keep that in mind when you notice how repetative it can be *Cough Title Screen Song Cough*
My inspirations upon writing this are the great chiptune artists Tim Follin, and Kulor. Many of the instruments I used in the writing processes are in fact adaptations of Kulor's instruments that he used intending to simulate Follin's sound.
In all, this album is experimental, genre based, underwater fun.
